The single channel reference in the description is almost assuredly a mistake.


Edit: On checking the ACEMAGIC website, it shows there as dual channel as well. I messaged the seller on Amazon about it.

It's likely some kind of driver issue(s), though I'm not versed enough in Linux to know what. My advice would be to put Windows back on it and see if the problem is there with Windows. I'd try reinstalling the system, which you can get here.

If that doesn't work or doesn't fix the issue, I'd reach out to the seller, as it is possible that the unit is defective.
