Opening the Casing

Post by seiM »

Has anyone managed to open this thing?
Somehow one of the fast spinning vents does some awful scratching sounds.

We have videos on replacing memory and built-in SSD, you can refer to the following videos;

Currently, we have installed a cooling fan in the memory slot; if there are other abnormalities, please provide the fault video and Amazon purchase order number, and send them to the email: barry@minipcunion.com; after we verify, we will further assist you. question.

It also happens to me that the lower fan sounds like a motorcycle at rest, it's horrible. I disassembled the Tank completely, cleaned the fan and put some lubricant on it, but it still keeps playing (It only plays when turning on the PC and for a while when starting Windows).
I turned the blades with my finger and it has that same horrible sound (When it rotates very slowly it sounds ugly) We would have to see the possibility of configuring its speed in the BIOS, I don't know if it will be possible.
Anyway, the fan looks very poor quality. I'm trying to find one that is the same but of better quality to replace it.

If you want to try disassembling the TANK, here is a link where they can help you. You have to disassemble the PC from top to bottom. First you must remove the screws from the top and bottom corners that are covered.

Disassembly may affect the warranty status.
If it is determined that the fault is caused internally, you can contact us at any time. Mini PCs purchased through official channels can enjoy a one-year warranty.
