Hi,
As an owner of a GK3 Pro I love the small device. However I'm suffering from VM freezes in Proxmox which is a common problem with the microcode of the N5105 as described here: https://forums.servethehome.com/index.p ... ity.38824/ . For Changwang based motherboards there is already a microcode / bios update available. Is there something similar for the GK3Pro as well ? Any bios and or microcode updates ? Thank you for your kind help.
With best regards,
Fkempf

We have communicated with the product, and we have not done any adaptation of the virtual machine; we have tested that the Windows 11 Pro system runs normally; we recommend that you buy our flagship product AMR5, and now there is a member day event, and many models have 20%~40% the discount of. Click on the homepage of the forum to go directly to the membership day activity interface.

Hi,
Thank you for the quick reply :-)! I have not Windows 11 but Proxmox running on the machine. The freeze is happening in KVM VMs which is a common problem with Jasper Lake CPUs like the N5105 that the GK3Pro uses. Do you know if the motherboard manufacturer offers a bios update and can provide links ? Some manufacturers for minipcs offer these (see previous post) and apart from that I'm happy with the GK3Pro and wouldn't like to change unless necessary.
Kind regards,
FKempf

The BIOS engineer has been consulted, and there is currently no relevant BIOS update

Fkempf, is there any indication of what the bios update was meant to fix? It's weird that only KVM/QEMU/Proxmux is seeing issues. Have those software providers found what's causing it?
