Pepsiman89, I don't have the model you're trying, but other mini PCs mentioned on this forum have a lot of BIOS settings that could help. Have you checked there to see if there are any performance or cooling settings that might apply?

Pepsiman89,

I don't know if it will make any difference, but check the 'Minimum processor state' in the 'Advanced Settings' for the 'Power Plan'. By default, mine was set to 80%, though I have no idea why. I set it to 5%, which is the recommended Minimum processor state. It's possible that, if the Minimum state is set too high, the CPU is always running warm, causing the fan to continually operate.

It might also be a good idea to install something like Core Temp to monitor the system temperatures.

the bios has very limited settings, also there is nothing concerning the fan speed.

I applied the settings you recommended, but nothing changed.

Well, it was worth a try anyway.

Hopefully the admin or barry777 will have some ideas. Still, I would contact after sales support at support@kamrui.com, as the fan definitely shouldn't be running at high speed if the unit isn't warm enough to call for it. Though it's Ace Magician, that kamrui address is still the after sales support address for all the brands they sell. It would probably be a good idea to reach out to the seller as well.

Thanks, I'll try to send an email, let's see what they reply...

Same problem with mine. Fan constantly at full speed and no options. No software can detect the fan. It seems that all models with this processor are broken.

I have sent an email to support, and I hope to receive a response with a definitive solution. I would be disappointed to have to return this mini PC...

Hi everyone, it's me again. After several tests I came to a conclusion. The fan is not detected by the bios and any fan control software.

The fan lives a life of its own, it runs constantly without any speed variation, making it impossible to control. Furthermore, there is an annoying background hum that accompanies the fan noise.

As far as I know, the fan should only kick in when the processor is under load. However, in my case (but perhaps to all AM07 owners), the fan remains constantly on even in periods of minimum activity. This constant fan noise is not only annoying, but also concerning in terms of power consumption and potential long-term effects on system performance.

I've tried exploring the system settings and options to control the fan speed but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any features or functionality available for controlling the fan.

I would be too sorry to return this product, I hope I don't have to return it to Amazon.
