AMR5 Mini PC - Now Have 32GB RAM, But Setting VRAM Above 8GB Makes The Mini PC Not Boot?

Hi,

I upgraded the RAM in my AMR5 mini PC to 32GB.
I tried to set the video RAM in the BIOS to maximum 16GB, but then the PC does not boot?
Have it set now to 8GB VRAM, but was wondering why 16GB VRAM does not work?

I am currently using Unreal Engine 5 IDE game creation software and need to squeeze as much performance as possible.

Awesome mini PC, extremely happy with it...

Jesse

This is just a guess, but it's possible that the system itself doesn't/can't support VRAM being set that high, especially with the components being mobile based rather than desktop.

Hopefully someone who has more knowledge about VRAM can either confirm this or knows the reason it's not working.

I will ask our BIOS engineers about the implications and considerations of changing VRAM, please stay patient.

The BIOS engineer has been consulted. For the sake of device stability, VRAM cannot be adjusted at present.
