So does this mean the AMR5 is not using the normal power supply and is instead being powered through the USB-C port?

Yes, if you're ready to travel, it's obviously more convenient to carry a PD charger than a bulky power supply.

That's pretty neat. Do you know what the power requirement is for operation of this type? I see it's a 120W charger in the video, but would a 65W charger be enough to power it though the USB-C port?

65W can only meet the 4500U processor power supply, while the 5600U to 120W USB-Cport.
But the 5600U runs on 65W is no problem, normal Internet and video are easy to watch, but can not go to test the power and play games.

I finally got my own AMR5.

Because the official power supply is 76W - it's a bit not true regarding 120W adapter.

My advice - is you need to travel with AMR5 (which is amazing experience) you need zmi powerpack no. 20.
It can power up the AMR5 without problems and do not interrupt power supply on charging (basically it's 100W portable UPS).

Update from 02.10.2022:

Since I have finally completed my scheme with QB826G and QC trigger for 20V - i can confirm that it's working as UPS for AMR5 without any problem

My advice get get this if you need Type-C cable for portable monitor and you wanna charge your AMR5 from Type-C

A bit later I will test QB826 (without G) and do a stress test

Hello Dante4
I'm interested in your next experiment. I will put your post on top so that everyone can see your efforts. I hope you will continue to update.

I'm a little confused about this paragraph. Is the official 120W adapter not suitable for carrying on a trip?

No, there is post regarding 65W:

Since official power supply is 19V and 3.42A (at lteast that what i got in my package) - that's exactly 65W, so I wanted to correct regarding 120W USB-Cport

Now I have both ZMI QB826G and QB826 (the difference in them is here).

Uptime from QB826G is around ~7 hours with silent mode and youtube\web browsing\working with word/excel/powerpoint.

In silent mode the power consumption with Type-C display, x2 NVMe 1TB Kingston A2000, Ethernet port and a few words\excels + web browsing is around 18W (https://i.imgur.com/hdxcOeO.jpg)

Under CPU-Z bench and perfomance mode the power consumption going up to 42W (https://i.imgur.com/DC2kNTK.png)
Under Furmark bench and perfomance mode the power consumption going up to 32W (https://i.imgur.com/VreWI3X.jpg)

All of the measure were taken while AMR5 was connected to ZMI power bank, both QB826 and Global version can power up amr5 just fine
