Hi,

When I run a youtube video at 1080x1920 at 60fps with Task manager, Performance Summary View running, I can't get passed 1.67Ghz. This should push the processor to the maximum (1.9Ghz).

Please advise how I can achieve this speed? I can't change any setting in "Change advanced power setting" all I get is, Balanced, Desktop background settings, Sleep and Display. I've tried this to no avail either.

Youtube videos are laggy at 1080x1920 at both 50 and 60fps. I also have a AZW Z83 (2GB/32GB) with a very similar specification to the Acepc-T11 (4GB/64GB) and videos are solid and play fine with the same settings (Edge, H.264 extension), you'd have thought with 2GB less ram, the AZW would have the issues.

Your description is very detailed, I think you can get some feelings from this video on optimizing performance: The code entered when optimizing powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61.
Regarding the slow playback of youtube videos, this is really unacceptable, you can also downgrade the system's version to win10 1909 version if you want. In this way, the system can free up more memory, and the performance of the computer will be further improved.

Thanks for the response.

I don't need to free up more memory and I don't want to downgrade to an unsecured PC. My AZW (z8350) has 2GB of Ram and 32GB emmc and can run youtube videos at 1080x1920 50-60fps without juddering. The Acepc-11 (z8350) which I have bought has 4GB of ram and 64GB of emmc, double the amount! It has a very similar Intel Atom® x5-Z8350 base chipset.

The settings on both PC's are the same, Microsoft Windows 10 and the Edge browser using the H264ify extension to improve video streaming. I can compare them directly.

I have already exhausted the internet playing around with setting now. I did this before I finally made the effort to try this approach, which I didn't want to have to do.

Will the bios work as I've shown in the video? I don't know? I'm willing to give it a try though and take any risk in doing so because at the moment the T11 can't do what I want. It should be able to perform at a level comparable to my AZW z83, they are very similar as I have mentioned.

I also don't have an advanced tab and can't select or see the Kingston A400 480GB sdd I've added, in the bios. This person who has an updated less restrictive bios for the Acepc T11 4gb/64gb (exactly the same PC as me), has these extra options. I can't even try and boot from it to see if it works for me with regards speed.

If you have the bios as I have shown in this video, please let me give it a try at my own risk.

Cheers.
