Hi there. I cannot update to Windows 11 on my GK3V because there is no "Secure Boot" option in the BIOS, which is essential for compatibility. Is there a BIOS update compatible with Wondows 11?

isaac_cp,

Not at this time.

It will likely be some time before any announcement is made as to which models, if any, will receive BIOS updates that will enable them to support Windows 11.

They're fully aware of the requirements for Windows 11 and people's desire for their units to be able to utilize it.

tpm.msc

and a screen will come up to tell you your PC's tpm status.

My Guizla shows it as available and using TPM 2.0 specification.

However, I just ran the MS Health Check tool, it say the J3455 CPU failed the Health Check, and as such it appears I will not be able to load and use the final version of W11.

This page

says my Guzila PC will not run Windows 11, but offers to let me shop for a new PC :-(

Wish I had known this in January (of this year) when I bought the Guzila.
Hi, RLGuzila. Don’t worry, Microsoft announced that it can only support CPUs after the 7th generation of Core Duo. This is a very strict restriction. We couldn't anticipate these at the time. Please rest assured that our factory personnel have already started testing the Win11 system on the MINI PC. And will make some improvements to the win11 system. In the future, we will provide an installation method in the form of an installation package, allowing you to use the stable version of the Win11 system.
You can also refer to the method of the forum customer Servo128: This is a new way to install windows 11, no other reg tweeks to do

Download windows 11 iso from microsoft
download Rufus 3.16 Beta 2 https://www.neowin.net/news/rufus-316-beta-2/

Run rufus, click on select, and browse to windows 11 iso
Click on Image options and select Extended windows 11 (no TPM/no secure boot /8 gig of ram)
Put a 8 gig usb stick in, and click start

Boot from usb stick and install as normal.

giuseppes85,

Check to see if the network driver is missing. If it is, see if the following driver fixes the problem...

Edited.

I was able to get the AK2 to take Win11. Had to go into the bio and enable TPM. With that said, it was a little slow and clunky. I ended up just reformatting and putting WIN 10 back on it. Since then it seems there have been some issues discovered that cause the slowdown although I thought it only affected AMD chips. I may give it another shot after another month or so.
