AK3 motherboard strange connector unused

I had opened the case and found this connector (USB something like) with no route to external chassis.

What is it? what for? any suggestions on possible uses for tweaking?

It's for when the board is used in a case that has an SSD/HDD carriage, like the AK1. It can't be used for anything else, as though it resembles USB-C, it's configured only for that case carriage.
