Through the news and interests on the Windows taskbar, you can not only quickly access the latest headlines and weather but also get real-time traffic conditions and alerts updated throughout the day. We also want to take a moment to discuss in detail the weather experience provided by news and interests on the Windows taskbar. The current weather conditions are displayed directly on the taskbar so that you can understand the latest weather conditions at a glance. The weather information displayed on the taskbar is updated throughout the day, so you can accurately and intuitively see the current weather conditions and temperature at your location. You can change the location of the weather you see by clicking the three dots on the "Weather" card and then click "Edit Location." It’s also easy to click on the forecast-just click on the "weather" card to see the immersive weather experience. If you want to learn more about the weather summary, scroll down to see a rich interactive map powered by Bing Maps and MSN Weather forecasts predicting weather conditions in your area over time. You can change the view and zoom in to your specific location to see the animation of predicted temperature, precipitation, wind, etc., over time. For US users, the map also provides a detailed view of severe weather events, such as winter storms, wildfires, and hurricanes.

Important note: This feature is currently only available for Windows Insiders in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and India. This feature also requires the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser (stable) installed on your PC. We will also test different variations of this experience so that some insiders may see a different experience from others.
