Re: Full dismantling of AM08 Pro
In addition to taking pictures, I'll often mark connectors and their ports on the system board with a number using a Sharpie, especially when there are multiple connections that are identical. This way they don't get mixed up when reconnecting them.
When I have to disconnect WiFi and Bluetooth antenna cables from the module I'll mark one of the connectors and put a little dot next to the corresponding connection on the module. This way, when reconnecting them, I know which one connects to which.

Re: Full dismantling of AM08 Pro
Almost assuredly for some form of debugging by the manufacturer.

Re: Full dismantling of AM08 Pro
Was hoping it could be used as a fan header
Going to connect a mini fan to blow across M.2
and memory, dremel an exhaust vent slot on top
and a 30mm fan intake hole at bottom, get some fresh air blowing over the m.2 drive and Ram
Guess I’ll pull the multi meter out and see if we
have 3v or 5v pins to use a raspberry Pi fan
Gets very hot under our magnetic panel
Already have copper SOD heatsinks on the way for ram

Re: Full dismantling of AM08 Pro
It is a fan header
the new AM08pro Ryzen 7 has a fan door
An easier way to do this would be to buy the fan door that’s available.. Need this door !!
Another heat problem- the LED board, need heatsink on that a.s.a.p. That’s probably the reason so many LED failures
Who can i email to get one of the fan doors shipped out?
