I made a few close ups of the devices internals

The location i placed it in covered up the sound quite well. Now that i tested further i see the sound you mean. It is noticeable and seems to be at constant speed. I might disassembly my unit soon to look inside. Maybe there is a fitting silent fan to replace the current one so even without a bios ...

I have issues with the fan aswell. It runs at a constant speed. I'm not sure if that is the max speed as it is not very noisy.
The BIOS itself is pretty barebones but i'll take another look now

I don't have an AD15 but the issue could be a general one. Are there any USB devices connected? Some devices will keep your PC from sleeping or wake it up at random times. Are there other newly installed applications? Can you verify that it is indeed the intel driver by reverting to an older version...
