Re: KINGSTON OM8SEP41024Q-A0 violates F2A spec - Official Solution Completed
Following barry's advice and referencing this forum I'd contacted "the service specialist of the purchasing platform". The proposal I've received was to purchase a "WD_BLACK SN770 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD" @ Amazon and forward the invoice. Meanwhile I've received a full refund for the W...

Re: DDR5-5600 Memory Upgrade
@barry777:
Thank you for providing the BIOS-update.
The originally installed RAM-modules (Kingston CBD56S46BS8HA-16) are running now also @ 5600 MHz (using the BIOS RAM-auto-speed setting).

Thank you for your reply.
Do you think it will be possible to fix this issue via a BIOS/EC-firmware update?

M2A : Without native NVIDIA drivers support
Currently the M1A-subforum is also best fitting for M2A questions: I’m considering the purchase of a M2A (RTX3080). According to the TANK03 (= M1A) review at https://liliputing.com/acemagic-tank03-review-tiny-gaming-pc-with-up-to-core-i9-12900h-and-nvidia-rtx-3080m/ the use of native NVIDIA drivers ...

Re: RAM upgrade and overRAMing
dragonpoo, Your signature lists some systems that come with 8GB of RAM. I had my first contact with the phenomenon called "overRAMing" through a J4105-DDR4-MiniPC: Intel states a max. of 8GB RAM, but I was able to confirm that 16GB RAM was fully operational. The Intel community offers an e...

Re: Function of "USB-HiSpeed-SERIAL-A CH347 (COM3)"
dragonpoo,
Thank you for linking the additional information.
I was curious about understanding this "COM3" device, which I've never noticed in other MiniPCs.
Currently I presume the AM16 manufacturer will not provide further information.
