I am running OpenWRT (snapshot with the 5.15.119 kernel and also with the 6.1.36 kernel) and am getting 5 W idle. Same 5 W idle under Arch Linux.
Running snort in IPS mode with SQM on a Gbit connection while running a download test varies between 16-35 W with the avg around 28 W.

Is there a recommended method for backing up a factory fresh SSD (say in the AM06 Pro)? I would like to put a Linux OS on the SSD and not use Windows, but thinking for re-sale value, having a backup of the factory state which can be restored would be best. I am thinking something like this would work.

Amazon does still sell the AM07, but it is confusing because review call out many related models.

Does anyone have some data on the power consumption of this? I am interested in idle power consumption running linux (I plan to run OpenWRT) and the device is idle most of the time.

I am seeing an AM advertised on Amazon with a 5600U processor but I cannot find this model on acemagic's website. Is it discontinued or is the one I linked on amazon an AM6?

Does anyone know what ethernet controllers are board the AM06? Are these 1G or 2.5G? Would love to see someone with one post the output of lspci.
