You can get the driver pack for the AX15 here.

They do honor warranties when purchased from Amazon.

It's a Windows install tailored for this system (with drivers). It's not a recovery disk.

Something for internal debugging would be my guess as well, especially because of where it is.

You need to get the driver from HP. Google HP M27. The page for the HP M27 comes up, and you can get the software from that page.

I agree that these units should last longer, and they normally do, but cutting the power to a running unit on a daily basis is not at all ideal, and it may very well have contributed to its shorter than normal life span. The option in the BIOS to have it start automatically after the power is restor...
